This Privacy Policy explains how STNew Solutions, the operator of Trackmaa, handles personal information through the Trackmaa website, applications, tracking platform, and related services.
For privacy questions or requests, contact support@trackmaa.com.
Separate privacy policies may apply to specific Trackmaa applications, including Trackmaa Client and Trackmaa Manager.
Where an organization or another authorized administrator uses Trackmaa to manage tracking devices and users, that organization or administrator may determine the purposes for which tracking information is collected and used and is responsible for providing any notices and obtaining any permissions or consent required by applicable law.
Accounts and Support: We may process names, usernames, email addresses, account information, password credentials in protected form, and information you provide when contacting us. This information is used to create and manage accounts, authenticate users, provide support, and operate Trackmaa services.
Tracking Data: Depending on the Trackmaa service, application configuration, device settings, and permissions granted, we may process device identifiers, precise location, timestamps, accuracy, speed, direction, altitude, battery information, telemetry, events, notifications, and related tracking information to provide location-tracking and device-management functionality.
Trackmaa Client may collect location information, including background location, when tracking is enabled and the required permissions have been granted. Additional details are provided in the separate Trackmaa Client Privacy Policy.
Website and Service Usage: We may process IP addresses, browser and device information, requests, logs, and related technical information necessary to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve our website and services.
Notifications and Diagnostics: Trackmaa applications may use services such as Google Firebase for notifications, application analytics, crash diagnostics, and related technical functionality where applicable. These services may process installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, notification tokens, application interactions, crash information, and diagnostic events.
Communications: We may use contact information to provide requested support, important account or service information, security notices, and other communications relating to Trackmaa.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis for processing personal information, the appropriate basis will depend on the circumstances and may include providing requested services, complying with legal obligations, legitimate interests in operating and securing the service, or consent where required.
Organizations or other parties using Trackmaa to track or manage individuals are responsible for establishing their own lawful basis for that tracking activity.
We may use cookies and similar technologies where necessary for login, authentication, sessions, preferences, security, and related website functionality.
Blocking required cookies may prevent certain Trackmaa website or service features from operating correctly.
Trackmaa may use third-party service providers for infrastructure, hosting, notifications, diagnostics, email delivery, mapping, or other functionality required to operate the service.
Where Google Firebase is used, Google may process technical information necessary to provide Firebase functionality, including notification delivery, analytics, and crash diagnostics where those features are enabled.
Third-party providers process information according to their applicable terms, Google’s privacy policy and privacy policies, and data-processing practices.
We may disclose information when required by applicable law or when reasonably necessary to protect our rights, users, services, prevent abuse or fraud, or respond to security incidents.
Trackmaa applications may connect to a configured tracking server.
Depending on the deployment, that server may be operated by STNew Solutions, an organization using Trackmaa, or another authorized server operator.
The applicable server operator may control server-side processing, access, sharing, and retention of tracking information.
Authorized users may be able to view location information, events, reports, device information, and other data according to the permissions configured for the applicable tracking system.
Where information is controlled by another organization or independent server operator, privacy requests concerning information held by that operator should be directed to that organization or operator.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes for which it is processed, including providing Trackmaa services, maintaining accounts, responding to support requests, maintaining security, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes.
Tracking information stored on a Trackmaa-operated server is retained according to the applicable service configuration and operational requirements.
Where another organization or independent server operator controls the tracking server, that operator determines its applicable retention arrangements.
Information stored locally by Trackmaa applications may remain on a user’s device until removed through application or device controls or until the application is uninstalled, subject to the functionality of the device and operating system.
Diagnostic information processed by third-party services such as Firebase is subject to the applicable service configuration and provider retention practices.
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, loss, or destruction.
However, no internet transmission, electronic storage system, device, or service can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
Users can manage certain account information and application permissions through Trackmaa, the applicable tracking server, or their device settings.
Trackmaa Client users can stop tracking or revoke location and other permissions through Android device settings. Revoking permissions required for tracking may prevent affected features from operating.
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, or a copy of your information and to object to certain processing.
Where processing is based on consent, you may be entitled to withdraw that consent without affecting processing that was lawful before withdrawal.
We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain privacy requests and may retain information where required by applicable law.
For information processed directly by STNew Solutions or a Trackmaa-operated service, privacy requests can be sent to:
For tracking information controlled by another organization or independent server operator, requests should be directed to that organization or operator.
Trackmaa must not be used to unlawfully monitor or track children or any other person.
Organizations, administrators, employers, parents or guardians, device owners, and other users deploying Trackmaa are responsible for ensuring that they have the appropriate authorization, consent, or other lawful basis required for their tracking activities.
Permission granted on a device to access location information does not by itself provide legal authorization to track another person.
If you believe Trackmaa is being used for unlawful collection or tracking involving a child, please contact support@trackmaa.com.
Users and administrators should protect their account credentials and devices and use trusted tracking servers.
Secure HTTPS connections should be used where supported. Information transmitted through an HTTP connection may not receive the same transport encryption as information transmitted through HTTPS.
Access to tracking information should be restricted to authorized users.
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes to Trackmaa services, applications, data practices, third-party providers, or applicable requirements.
Updates will be published on this page, and additional notice will be provided where required.
A Privacy Policy update does not by itself authorize new processing that requires consent under applicable law.
