Trackmaa Client sends device location reports to a configured tracking server. It is provided by STNew Solutions. For privacy questions, contact support@trackmaa.com. Our main Trackmaa Privacy Policy also covers our services and support.
When tracking is enabled and the necessary permissions are granted, the app collects precise location, including in the background. Reports can include a device identifier, timestamps, coordinates, accuracy, speed, direction, altitude, battery status, and related tracking information. The receiving server also receives connection information such as your IP address.
Motion or activity recognition helps adjust tracking when the device is stationary or moving. In versions that report activity types, those types are sent with location reports. This can be classified as health-related data by app stores; Trackmaa Client is not a medical or fitness service.
Versions with optional Bluetooth beacon detection can also report nearby beacon identifiers when that feature is enabled.
Settings and, when buffering is enabled, pending location reports are stored on the device to support tracking and delivery when connectivity returns.
Reports go to the tracking server configured in the app. The server may be operated by STNew Solutions, your organization, or another authorized provider.
Check the configured server address before enabling tracking. The server operator controls access, sharing, and retention of information stored on that server. Users authorized by the server operator may be able to view your location.
Installing Trackmaa Client does not require payment details. A separate account may be required to view tracking information on the configured server.
For servers operated by other organizations or providers, consult the applicable operator’s privacy notice. STNew Solutions cannot control or delete information independently held by another server operator.
Distributed builds using Google Firebase include Analytics, Crashlytics, and Cloud Messaging. These services process app interactions, installation identifiers, device and operating-system information, crash reports, and diagnostic events to help understand application usage, identify and fix errors, and deliver notifications or supported commands.
This processing is separate from sending location reports to the configured tracking server.
The app sends its notification token to the configured server where required to support notifications or remote commands.
Google Firebase processes information according to Google’s applicable privacy and data-processing practices. Google may process data outside your country.
You can stop tracking in the app, revoke location or activity permissions through your device settings, or uninstall the app.
Stopping tracking does not necessarily stop diagnostic processing while the application remains in use. Server commands may start tracking where the application, device configuration, and granted permissions allow it.
Stopping or uninstalling Trackmaa Client does not delete reports already sent to a tracking server.
Requests for access, export, correction, or deletion of information stored on a tracking server should be directed to the operator responsible for that server.
Local settings and buffered reports can be removed using the device’s application-data controls where available.
Diagnostic retention depends on the applicable Firebase service and configuration and is separate from tracking-server retention.
For personal information processed directly by STNew Solutions, you may contact support@trackmaa.com to request information about your data or, where applicable, request access, correction, or deletion.
The operator of the configured tracking server is responsible for the lawful basis, notices, access controls, and retention applicable to its tracking activities.
Permission to access location does not provide permission to unlawfully track another person.
Use a trusted tracking server and HTTPS where supported. The security of reports depends on the device, network connection, protocol, and tracking-server configuration. Delivery may not be encrypted when an HTTP server address is used.
Contact support@trackmaa.com if you suspect unlawful collection of information involving children.
We may update this Privacy Policy when Trackmaa Client functionality, data practices, third-party services, or applicable requirements change. Updated versions will be published on this page.
